Images of Nuclear Denial - a visit to the USA

Nigel Young will be in the US from 18th October (Florida) to 27th November (San Francisco), and is willing to give a presentation: “Blocking out Catastrophe” using images of denial and empowerment in facing the ongoing nuclear crises. This is an illustrated talk and is suitable for all audiences.

He will need expenses, but is willing to travel; he can also talk about topics in his forthcoming book, Making Modern Memory: Peace and War in an Age of Remembering, and is also happy to discuss the current politics of Europe, “Brexit”, the UK and the emergence of the new Corbyn Left.

He will leave the UK on lst October, 20l7
